NEW RICHMOND — Roy Geiger, 69, Rt. 1, New Richmond, died at noon Monday in Home Hospital at Lafayette. He was employed as a farmer. Mr. Geiger lived in the Romney-New Richmond communities all his life and was a graduate of Jackson High School. Mr. Geiger was a member of the Pleasant Hill United Church of Christ at Wingate. Born July 13, 1906, he was the son of Ora A. and Ida May Temple Geiger. Surviving are two brothers, Morris and Floyd of New Richmond; a sister, Mrs. Elsie Axsom of Crawfordsville; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Geiger was preceded in death by five brothers and sisters. Services will be at 10: 30 a.m. Thursday in Thomas Funeral Home at Waynetown. The Rev. Homer Hunsinger and the Rev. Tom True will be officiating. Burial will be in New Richmond Cemetery. Friends may call after 5 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. - kbz
